About Me
My name is Tyler! I'm 21 years old and from Slatington, Pennsylvania. Currently, I'm a fourth-year studying computer science at Pennsylvania State University - Harrisburg, from which I expect to graduate in the Spring of 2024. I wish to travel the world pursuing my interests and hobbies (listed below)!
Hobbies & Interests
Racing
Since the age of 5, I have been driving race cars alongside my family pit crew. Traveling across the Eastern half of the US, I have raced thousands of races and won hundreds, with prizes up to $1200. Through the years, I've moved up to larger and faster cars. Today, I primarily race in a class called the 600 Micro Sprints. The cars are custom-built and repurpose sport motorcycle engines. Alongside the 600 Micro Sprint, I also race an asphalt car in the TQ Midget class. I typically race on dirt oval tracks with the 600 Micro Sprints, but in the Winter some large TQ Midget events are held indoors on asphalt. Snowboarding
Snowboarding is another hobby/sport I've had since my childhood. The feeling of flying down the mountain and tearing through powdered snow is hard to replicate! In the winter of 2021, I went on a group trip to Killington, VT. Not only was the trip incredibly fun, but it sparked my interest in winter travel. My destination for 2022 was Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. Not only was it my first time outside the country, it was also my first time traveling with my partner Aidan! Despite my lack of coherent French speaking, we had a great time, also enjoying two days in Montreal on the way to and from. I occasionally post about snowboarding on my Instagram profile.
